Loading Hardware

Developing a mid-fidelity e-commerce website for a hardware store.

This was the second concept design sprint I carried out during the full-time User Experience Design course at General Assembly.

The Challenge

Design an e-commerce site for Loading Hardware’s customers so they can buy its products online for delivery either to their home or the store.

The Outcome

Using the Double-Diamond design process and the UX methods below (for example, competitor analysis, card sorting, sketching, wireframing, prototyping and iterating), I designed an e-commerce website to mid-fidelity, meeting the persona’s needs and goals whilst maintaining the client’s brand image and ‘small shop’ appeal, as requested in the brief.
